A few years ago, Valk started making e-bikes and each model is meticulously manufactured. In designing quality and well-balanced bicycles that can be used on a weekly commute, the company knows what it’s doing. It has been selling its products to the public for seven years now, and it has proven itself to be reliable and trustworthy.

The Valk electric bike is made in the People’s Republic of China. It’s made in China, but that doesn’t mean the quality is any less reliable because of it. These bikes are built to the highest standards to provide an E-MTB experience unlike any other.

It’s the first e-bike that can handle rough terrain just as well as more expensive models, and it’s priced accordingly. The electric bike’s components have received a lot of customer praise for their true synergy.

The Positives and Negatives

With a steel frame, this electric bike is built to last. For everyday use, this electric motorcycle has an alloy 6061 frame and aluminium rims. The responsiveness of the large disc brakes is compromised by their rapid deterioration. A better braking system, such as a hydraulic disc brake system, is typically found in more expensive models.

Because the electric bike’s battery pack is removable, you can charge it at home if you don’t have power where you store the e-bike.

One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of a rear tail light and only red reflectors in place of the traditional second headlight. The package does include a red battery-operated light, but it would be preferable if it were hard-wired. It is illegal in Australia to ride at night with only one headlight, so you have the option of including both lights or not.

It’s possible to fix these issues by purchasing additional parts from our shop, which may raise the price. In the end, it’s up to you how much you’re willing to spend on a new bike.

It’s also a good idea to keep the included puncture repair kit handy because the tread on the tyres is a little soft. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable ride, you should inflate your bike’s tyres to 32 PSI.

The Valk electric bike is only available in two colours right now: white and red. We’d like to see more colour options from the company in the future.
